The City of Sturgis, MI is seeking applicants for immediate hire for the position of Electric Department Superintendent. The Electric Department Superintendent is responsible for managing and overseeing electric system operations and improvements including; engineering, generation, metering, transmission, substations, and distribution. He/she manages a staff of approximately 22 employees in the line, meter, GIS, and generation divisions. The Electric Department Superintendent is responsible for planning, policy development, budget development and administration, public relations, and all other administrative functions of the department.
