A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Andreas Fischer (Montana State University, Bozeman, MT, United States). The successful candidate will identify and characterize proteases involved in nitrogen remobilization from senescing barley leaves, using a combination of advanced biochemical and molecular tools. She/he will be expected to prepare manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed journals, help with general lab management duties, and interact with graduate and undergraduate students working on the same and related projects.
