The City of Salinas is looking to fill Associate Engineer vacancies to assist in the oversight of divisions and management of consultant contracts, programs, and assigned personnel. These positions will also coordinate the engineering, planning, design, construction, and operation activities between multiple departments and agencies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or other related engineering discipline.
Experience: Three years of engineering experience, including one year of supervisory experience.
Licenses and Certifications: A valid State of California Driver’s License; must be a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. Employee must complete AB 1825 Sexual Harassment Prevention Training within six months of appointment and every two years thereafter.
