Utility Safety Coordinator
The City of Pasadena is seeking an experienced and hardworking industrial safety professional to support the Water and Power Department (PWP). This position will perform a variety of professional assignments in support of PWP and environmental health programs to ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety and environmental regulations.  Responsibilities will include ability to make field inspections and conduct investigations; detect unsafe conditions and practices; interpret and apply Safety Orders of the Division of Industrial Safety and applicable provisions of the Labor Code. The Utility Safety Coordinator makes reports of findings and recommendations, develops, and conducts a variety of safety training programs for employees.
