We are seeking an individual with leadership, strategic thinking and result driven skills to join our team as Sales Director. This individual should be willing to locate to general and/or surrounding area.
The position is responsible for directing our sales team, planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs.
General Functions
Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities and directs product and/or market research and development.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals.
Provides feedback to company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
Directs departments to ensure all customers have accurate and timely information on order status and assists in troubleshooting orders.
Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
Prepares periodic sales reports.
Represents company at trade association meetings.
Pulp and Paper Experience preferred
Physical Qualifications Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to occasionally lift products up to 20 pounds.
Hours/Classification Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Salary Exempt
Travel During training and/or acclimatization of our business needs, travel may be frequent. Once acclimated, travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
