We are looking for a Lead Building Engineer to welcome to our Boston team. This is an incredible opportunity to be a valued member of Hughes Marino and partner with some of the firm’s most important clients to help them directly manage their facility operations. This particular position will partner with one of Boston's and most exciting technology companies to be the Senior Building Engineer on a new construction regional headquarters, which spans three locations and is over a hundred thousand square feet in size and consisting of a combination of creative office space, research and development, manufacturing, and cafeteria space.

Essential Responsibilities
Accountable for all building equipment ensuring the timely maintenance, safety inspection and repair schedules for the various machinery.
Qualified to operate or assist in the operation of all HVAC, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigeration machines, air conditioning units, fans and siphons, plumbing, electrical, and lighting located throughout the campus.
Collaborate with facilities management team in selecting, managing, and coordinating with vendors for maintenance and repair activities.
Support leadership team to effectively operate, track and proactively maintain all facilities assets including campus-based equipment, warranties and specialized vendors.

Experience with dynamic machinery and equipment utilizing cutting edge technologies and manufacturing practices within a multi-building campus.
Must be able to understand, analyze and problem solve the operation, design, maintenance, performance or repair of equipment and vehicles and their operating components.
Develop logical approach to problem solving and the definition of maintenance programs to ensure safe and legal operation of equipment
Must be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and proactively communicate with all parties to ensure; safety, regulatory compliance, operational dependability and efficiency.
Must be able to manage time effectively, be responsive and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in building engineering and maintenance.
Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, polished and a proud representative of the Hughes Marino brand.
