Under direction of the Power Plant Superintendent, the Plant Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the overall activities of plant operations work.  An employee in this class may be required to maintain records of plant operations, prepare the payroll, and supervise any major area of plant operations as assigned.    Because the Authority has a primary responsibility to serve the public 24 hours a day, an employee in this class is expected to work overtime as conditions demand and may be expected to accept overtime on short notice during emergency conditions or power outages.
