Sustained population growth continues to require innovative agricultural practices including the use of affordable and efficient sensing and feedback technologies for agricultural operations. Robotics, biosensing, control and network technology in agricultural operations have grown rapidly in the last 20 years and are expected to remain among the major drivers of productivity.
