Chief Manufacturing Officer (Cartesian Therapeutics- Maryland) Will oversee “in house” production, the visibility our executives gain from discovery, cGMP manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory and clinical operations and allow unparalleled access to the world of drug development. The position gives an opportunity to interface between the medical and manufacturing divisions and thus requires an effective manager in bringing promising therapies to market. The successful candidate is expected to research and develop cancer treatments and cell-based immunotherapies to bring therapeutic products to markets; supervise Cartesian’s manufacturing department including operations of a 4,762 square foot facility in Gaithersburg, MD. Minimum requirements: Ph. D. in a Biomedical Science field or similar degree and work experience in drug development and related fields. Additional requirements include: Completion of the FDA’s Clinical Investigator Training Course; understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices regulations and requirements; ability to help expand our research efforts and seek new drug delivery targets.
