Vanasse & Associates, Inc. (VAI) is seeking applicants with a minimum of 2-years of traffic engineering or transportation planning experience to prepare Transportation Impact Studies and related assessments in support of municipal master plans and private development projects. Candidates should have experience with multimodal and mixed-use trip-generation; roadway and intersection capacity analysis; safety evaluations; and traffic signal timing and operations.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and an F.E./E.I.T certification or attainment potential within 6 months of hiring. Proficient computer and communication skills are essential, including familiarity with the use of HCS, SYNCHRO™ and SimTraffic™ computer programs.
