BME/IALS Junior Faculty Search The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME: https://bme.umass.edu) and the Institute of Applied Life Sciences (IALS: https://www.umass.edu/ials/) at UMass Amherst are seeking a tenure-track faculty member in any area of Biomedical Engineering who will establish a research program with translational potential. While we are seeking talented applicants qualified for an assistant professor position, under exceptional circumstances, highly qualified candidates at other ranks may receive consideration. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2021. The successful applicant will be a member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and a part of the Institute for Applied Life Sciences, an interdisciplinary translational catalyst on campus that also manages a diverse array of centralized core equipment facilities (https://www.umass.edu/ials/core-facilities).
