Entry-level civil engineering work including preparation of preliminary layouts, detailed design drawings, permit plans, and/or other drawings.
Research municipal ordinances and regulations required by jurisdictional agencies
Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule
Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner
Use third-party applications (AutoTURN, StormCAD, etc.) to generate drawings based on specific project requirements
Technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter curriculum (EIT a plus; BS in Civil Engineering a plus)
5+ years of relevant experience (civil design)
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (ArcGIS and InfraWorks experience a plus)
Ability to read and understand municipal ordinances and regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
