Senior Transportation Policy Advisor
City of Vancouver
Serve as the City’s senior advisor, strategist, and advocate in regard to transportation projects of regional importance, including the I-5 Bridge Replacement project, congestion pricing on the regional highway system, planning and future southwest Washington highway projects, and the implementation of regional transit projects. As the primary point of contact on such projects, this person will identify key issues and opportunities, collaborate with city staff to determine desired outcomes and priorities, and engage with project sponsors to advocate for city interests and track and report out on progress. Additionally, this person will represent the City’s interests related to state and federal legislative priorities regarding regional infrastructure, and will be the primary spokesperson for the City in discussing how regional infrastructure projects further the city’s regional transportation vision, through the media and other outlets.
