The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota seeks to fill multiple faculty positions at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Associate Professor (tenured), and/or Professor (tenured) level.
Our department conducts innovative research, offers high-quality education, and has strong connections to the thriving Twin Cities medical device and medical technology industry (medicalalley.org). Outstanding opportunities exist for close collaboration with faculty in the College of Science and Engineering and in the adjacent Medical School - including its NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center for Immunology, the Lillehei Heart Institute, and the Stem Cell Institute. PhD in biomedical engineering or a related field of science or engineering
Outstanding academic and research records, with established research interests and accomplishments
Ability to develop a robust, externally-funded research program, initiate interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and engage in scholarly publication
Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and advising a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students
