Penn State Harrisburg, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a non-tenure line faculty position in Civil Engineering at the Assistant Teaching Professor level, starting Fall 2019. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and laboratories and engage in service and scholarly activities. Applicants with interests in the areas of construction, structure, transportation, and geoscience will be given priority. Faculty are expected to pursue and sustain scholarly activities, recruit and advise students, perform the administrative tasks required to maintain ABET accreditation, contribute quality service to the university and the profession, and supervise graduate students. Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and three or more years of relevant industrial experience.
