Under general direction, the Chief Engineer coordinates the Districts engineering and technical operations relating to the safe and adequate supply of domestic water to the District's member cities.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a Registered Professional Engineer (PE), including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A professional engineer’s license is required. An Ohio EPA Class IV or Class III Water Supply Operator Certification is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of civil, hydraulic and environmental engineering methods and practices is preferred. Compensation is dependent on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
