We are looking for people with considerable experience in the area of deterministic and probabilistic safety analysis to join our nuclear safety team. To fill this position you are required to have a sound foundation in nuclear safety methods and applications expertise, products and services, and with substantial experience in applications to operating nuclear and other industrial plants. The level of the appointment will be based upon the knowledge and experience of the candidate.

To deliver nuclear safety expertise to power generation utilities and other customers. The specific accountabilities of the position are as follows:
A strong understanding of CANDU nuclear power plant design, operation and regulatory requirements, or equivalent for fossil and chemical plants
Understand and assess client problems and determine appropriate means of solution
Manage projects and act as team lead where appropriate
Interface effectively with other staff on multi-disciplinary projects
Stay current with developments within your field of expertise
Skills / Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Science, Physics, or Applied Mathematics
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have demonstrated a high commitment to quality
Excellent problem solving skills
Experience in leading technical projects to successful conclusions
Good understanding of nuclear power plant design and operation
You are innovative, enthusiastic and ready to be part of our dynamic team
High commitment to quality and to providing value to your customers
Ability to provide value-added solutions and to consistently deliver projects ahead of schedule and under budget
Working knowledge of the systems at a nuclear power plant
Ability to work in multiple locations including Toronto and client sites
Nuclear Security Clearance is an asset
