Staff Engineer with 2 or more years of experience or Project Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in civil and geotechnical engineering on any types of projects, preferably including seepage analyses, slope stability analyses under static and seismic loading conditions and evaluations of liquefaction potential and lateral spreading. Projects at GENTERRA will include the analysis, design, evaluation, inspection and rehabilitation of dams, spillways, levees and other water and flood control facilities and infrastructure in the United States, including earth, rockfill, concrete and roller compacted concrete (RCC) structures, lined and unlined spillways, levees, hydraulic structures, pipelines, channels, reservoir outlet works, pump stations and drainage systems. A Master's Degree or higher is preferred, but a lesser degree will be considered based on specific experience. Registration as an EIT in CA or any other State is not mandatory for the Staff level position but would be a plus. Registration as a PE in CA or any other state is not mandatory but is preferred for the Project level. Requirements also include strong computer skills, good verbal and written communications, and evidence of success in working well with other employees and clients as part of a responsive, technical and professional team.
