As Manager of Quality Assurance and Point of Care Testing, you will review accreditation requirements in order to maintain program standards, policies and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness and regulatory compliance. This position compiles statistical data, monitors key performance indicators and incident information and reports monthly/quarterly/YTD comparisons; develops narrative and graphical reports summarizing QA findings; assists department supervisors and Laboratory LIS with quality audits; and ensures ongoing user training and competency for Point of Care Testing.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree
4-5 years of laboratory experience; 1-3 years in regulatory compliance (JC, CAP, FDA) with QA responsibility preferred
MS Office proficiency
Experience compiling and reporting on statistical data
Lean, Six Sigma and ASQ or other quality certification preferred
ASCP registration and CQA certification a plus
