We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator to engage in delivering proposals, qualification documents, presentations, brochures and other marketing materials for our Infrastructure business unit. You will report into our Business Development Services Manager and will work independently and as part of our successful team. The position is based in New York, NY and supports pursuits throughout the United States.
Specifically, you will gather, synthesize, research and organize information from many sources to generate cohesive and compelling business development proposals, qualifications and presentations. You will review Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid, or Request for Qualifications (RFQs) so that client requirements are clearly understood and addressed in our deliverables. Most importantly, you will convey our core capabilities and discriminators in our responses. You may also prepare proposal schedules, organize all technical written materials - including sections, tables, exhibits, and attachments, and proofread or edit content for accurate content, consistency and compliance.
You will work with not only our business development and technical staffs but also graphics, editors, quality assurance and production teams. This position will require some evening and weekend work to meet proposal deadlines. Travel requirements can be up to 30% of time. Keys to your success will be your ability to develop compelling and compliant deliverables, on time, and be a valuable contributor to winning key pursuits.
5-8 years of proposal development experience including editing and publishing experience is required. Experience in the Architectural, Engineering or Construction industry is preferred and experience in Alternative Project Delivery pursuits is a plus.
Excellent organization/time management skills to meet strict deadlines. Excellent use of the English language, strong writing skills, and an ability to solve problems quickly in a fast paced environment
Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
4 year degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is highly preferred.
