Amec Foster Wheeler currently has an opportunity for a Certified Welding Inspector to join our team in Albuquerque, NM to work on an on-call, as needed basis depending on project needs.
Certified Welding Inspector to support structural steel inspection for fabrication shop and field quality assurance inspection services with the following certifications:
NDT Level II in MT and UT methods
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Certification (S1)

Will travel mostly within New Mexico; May also travel to surrounding states; Approximately 30% overnight travel
Skills / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), NDT Level II in MT and UT methods and ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Certification (S1)
5 to 10 years inspection/construction experience
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and technical writing skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability and willingness to travel mostly within New Mexico; May also travel to surrounding states; Approximately 30% overnight travel
Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
Fully capable of rigorous physical activity
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to work on scaffolding
