The Quality and Continious Improvement (Q&CI) Senior Principal Engineer will support the deployment of Customer Satisfaction initiatives, conduct warranty and defect data analysis, and drive the increased usage of data to support decision-making processes at the various segments. This role will be responsible for building structured problem solving capabilities at the segments through training and application.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working with all segment problem solvers in the application of structured techniques (8D, Six Sigma, etc.) to resolve product issues; utilizing a hands-on approach to guide problem solvers through each step of the problem solving process.
Responsible for data analytics related to warranty, customer satisfaction, and internal manufacturing defect data to detect issues and trends.
Complete statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, life data analysis, etc.) to support findings and recommendations of issues and trends identified through data analytics.
Create and maintain process maps following corrective action and recommended improvements.
Document improved processes in appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of experience in Engineering, Business Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or in a related area.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving and evaluative skills.
Experience communicating conceptual and technical information both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management, external clients).
Experience with projects or issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and lines of business.
Must be a U.S. Person unless special circumstances apply.
Graduate Degree in Engineering or in a related area.
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Technical mastery of data analytics and associated statistical techniques.
