CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Parsippany, NJ or Syracuse, NY office location. This individual will oversee the planning, design and permitting of civil-site, water supply, wastewater and general municipal projects.
Growth and sustainability of the water/wastewater market through on-going business development efforts, working closely with the business development team, and staying abreast of trends in the marketplace.
Recognized internally and externally as an expert within his/her discipline.
Has excellent knowledge of fundamentals in water/wastewater.
Obtains and manages client base.
Develops project proposals.
Assign teams to projects.
Handles work plan development, execution, and monitoring.
Serves as a mentor to technical staff.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
10+ years of progressive technical and managerial experience.
Strong understanding and knowledge of water/wastewater market as well as the adaptability for future services offered within that market.
Wet Weather, Combined Sewer Over Flow, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and or Water Treatment design and project management experience.
Proven track record and strong professional relationships with local and regional clients public and private utility clients.
P.E. license required.
An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
The ability to work independently and follow through on projects.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
