This role will be reporting to the VP Operations and working with various site leaders, this position is responsible for establishing the vision, roadmap, and culture required to achieve “zero quality defects” and eliminate all other forms of waste through Lean principles and strong continuous improvement culture. This includes an “end to end” focus on lean & quality from our suppliers, through our mfg. processes, and ultimately to our customers
Promote a strong continuous improvement culture.
Leading and organizing customer, agency driven audits.
Assure the requirements of our ISO, and other quality management systems are maintained. Includes the quality reporting, corrective/preventive actions, Internal Auditing System and customer complaint tracking throughout the company.
Performs statistical analysis/capability analysis using Six Sigma, DMAIC problem solving, 8D problem solving or other similar methodologies
Establish and communicate the vision for utilizing lean principles and a continuous improvement culture to drive operational excellence.
Work to develop and execute on a roadmap to achieve our long term lean and quality vision as well as our short and medium term goals and objectives.
Work with company leaders to analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and implement kaizen activities or corrective actions to address problem areas / opportunities.
Evaluate our organizational structure and recommend improvements to best utilize our Lean / CI and quality resources.
Work with the various company leaders to drive the use of standardized lean & quality tools, share best practices, and benchmark world-class companies to achieve a higher level of operational excellence.
Coordinate activities related to addressing major customer quality issues. Communicate problem resolution to customers and senior management, as required, in a timely manner.
Contributes to annual budgetary process and is responsible for Quality Dept. budgetary compliance.
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events in support of our goals.
Proven record of accomplishment in electronic manufacturing environments of leading the lean / quality efforts for major businesses/corporations, with demonstrated tangible improved results that positively influenced business efficiencies and costs.
Requires strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions. Must have demonstrated statistical analysis capabilities.
Experience leading kaizen events and training teams on Lean principles is a requirement.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, in a discipline related to Operations or Engineering.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in progressively responsible lean and quality related positions and minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior level, lean and/or quality leadership role is required. Experience in both a “make to stock” and “make to order”, discrete production and assembly is required.
CQE, CQM, and / or Black Belt in Lean or Six Sigma preferred
Required to travel 5-10%
