We are looking for an Electrical Engineer I entry level to join our plant support team and assist in supporting production with technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills and providing both day to day guidance as well as developing and leading improvement projects.

What the role entails
This Electrical Engineer I entry level role is a great opportunity to contribute to the organization safety and profitability while developing as a technical expert and leader. Reporting to the Superintendent, Engineering and Controls, you will be:
Providing new ideas, insights, and direction for new processing alternatives to improve product recovery and quality. Understanding and uses the process simulation model to test new ideas
Interacting with senior engineers to help develop expertise in process evaluation, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Analyzing operating procedures, process data trends, and equipment unit operation functions to optimize the process
Consulting with scientific, engineering, contractors, consultants, and technical personnel to resolve problems such as equipment or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, and data interpretation
Assisting maintenance and production departments in troubleshooting, training, and providing technical support
Supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance, and enforcement as well as compliance with corporate programs and policies
To succeed in this role, you will have:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
3+ yrs. engineering or maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production or mining facility.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC logic (programming and troubleshooting), adjustable speed motor controls, feedback control systems, three phase equipment and positioning servo drive systems
Understanding of Electrical and Control Systems Drawings, including P&IDs, Electrical One-Lines, Electrical Schematics and Instrumentation Loops
