The QA Director will take responsibility for all aspects of day to day quality requirements to meet the expectations and requirements of our customers. The QA Director will develop and drive the quality management system with focus on ensuring a sound quality culture as the first priority.
Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering related field OR 5-7 years work experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment
Accountable Manager experience a plus
FAA Repair Station experience required
Managerial experience and proven leadership skills

Knowledgeable of AS9100
Data based decision making skills

Develop and continuously improve the QMS.
Interact with FAA, Customers, etc.
Responsible for the document management system. This will include writing and revising quality policies and procedures for the facility and tracking training to the new or revised procedures.
Manage the corrective and preventive action system for both internal and external CA's.
Determine and evaluate risks in the manufacturing process that will affect quality, safety or throughput. Perform Risk Analysis and implement procedures or other mitigations to decrease risk.
Track and approve process changes taking place within the facility. Determine if change will affect quality and/or impact fixed practice agreements.
Schedule and conduct internal audits at primary facility and occasionally at sister sites.
