Huitt-Zollars' Tacoma, Washington office has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineer. The successful candidate will work with experienced project managers designing civil engineering improvements for private development and public works projects. This role will assist in design and oversee drafters on projects including retail, commercial, residential developments, schools and park projects.
Assist project manager in all projects including the design of site improvements, utility extensions, and storm drainage systems for private retail, commercial and residential developments and public works projects
Assist in preparation of on-site private grading, storm drain, utility plans, earthwork estimates, construction quantity estimates
Assist in preparation of estimates of cost, water quality management plans, drainage studies, sewer capacity studies, water system analysis
Process plans through respective agencies, including client and project team communication and coordination
Assist in preparation of site, street, storm drain, sewer, water street lighting, signing and striping improvement plans
Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
EIT Certification required, P.E. a plus
Minimum 3 years' experience
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel Project and PowerPoint
